Intense curiosity drives my love for learning.   Whether it’s atmospheric science, biology, psychology, geology, physics, statistics, or computer science, I want to know everything there is to know.  I live in the beautiful Cache Valley in Northern Utah, and I love it here.   I love being a web developer because there is always something new to learn, and when given a problem, I can’t stop until it has been resolved.

By day, I work primarily in C#/SQL (and of course HTML/CSS/JavaScript).  I do most side projects in PHP/MySQL, and have tinkered with Node.js and several other platforms and languages.

For two years of my life, I lived in the beautiful Central American country of Nicaragua.  I thank the Nicaraguan people everyday for teaching me about how happiness really works, and I try to let the lessons I learned there govern my life.

My primary source of happiness is my family.  I love enjoying life with my beautiful wife Aubrey and my two sons Carson and Gordon.

I write about whatever is on my mind for the day, whether that be code problems I’ve encountered or my philosophies of life.   Hopefully you find something here useful and I can help you in some way or another.
